I asked some of my friends if one of them had an old VCR because I have not even enough money to buy a TV card (e.g. Hauppauge WinTV). I intended to use that VCR as a TV tuner. An old PCI card (which is even supported in Windows 95) with a chinch input would transfer the signal to my computer. Of course someone was kind enough to give me his old VCR (built in 1988). Unfortunately it was broken so me and my friends began to look for the faulty parts.

	The VCR at the "beginning"
	We thought it might be the power supply's fuse so we looked for it
	The fuse was removed and replaced by copper cord
	We didn't want it to be that dangerous so we hooked up an FI
	As you see we looked for the faults everywhere
	The fault could not be found here, either
	The side cutter is always useful... :-)
	Still no faults discovered
	Hm...
	The side cutter has been used a few times already
	Even a screwdriver couldn't help...
	These are the dropped remains...Well, the VCR is dead but we can still use some of the electronic parts. What you can't see here is the fact that at the end we noticed we had only connected the wrong cable to the FI... the correct one was lying next to the power bar...
