It's annoying having to boil water first when cooking sausages and leaving them in there for a while. But those times are over now! DiM found a method to cook any kind of sausage in no-time. To do that we use the DiM D1 Ampere Grill, which cooks the sausage by just using electricity. The sausage will be directly connected to a 230V outlet using two pins. The resulting current will cook the sausage quickly.
Parts for the Ampere Grill:
€ 1 board of wood
€ 2 cables with banana plugs (without chrome!)
€ 1 cable with 230V plug
€ 1 230V capable switch
€ nails, screws etc.
Assembly:
Before you put everything on the wooden board assemble the electric part.
Connect the power cable to the switch. The cables with the banana plug go to the oder side of the switch.
Warning: Don't use chromed plugs. If you heat up the sausage the chrome dissolves. Because it's poisonous you can't eat part of the sausage later. Use copper plugs instead.
When the electric part is finished put the switch and the cables on the board. Don't forget to leave some room for a sausager fastener.
Now, drive a few nails into the board to pin up the sausage. Voila, the sausage cooker is finished!
Instructions:
Prepare the following things: a sausage, a glass bowl (for security reasons), a plate and eventually a fork and a knife.
Make sure the power cable is unplugged before "connecting" the sausage. Now, pin up the sausage. Stick a banana plug in each side of the sausage. It is now ready for cooking.
Cover the whole thing with the glass bowl to protect yourself from getting zapped.
Plug in the power cable and push the switch to cook the sausage. Leave it on for 30 seconds, then turn off the switch and unplug the power.
You can remove the sausage now. Enjoy your meal!
Further information
This device uses 230V voltage. Never touch the sausage while it's cooking or you might get a dangerous electric shock! DiM cannot be held responsible for injuries or death!
Don't cook the sausage for too long or it overheats and explodes! Depending on the size it has to be cooked for 10-30 seconds.
