Description
If you want to etch PCBs it's good to use photo coated PCBs because you don't have to paint the layout yourself, you can use a printed layout instead.
Of course you need an appropriate lamp to expose the PCB before etching it. Usually a good exposure device would be quite expensive but as always there's a solution for the ghetto!
The device shown here is basically made of an old sun-tan light which was bought at a second-hand shop for a few bucks. The lamp was built into an aluminum case and later the whole thing was hung to a chain with wire. And last but not least, a true modder needs no ground :) |
